FAA Fairey Fulmar Mk I 1/72 Airfix

My Fulmar Mk I in Temperate Sea Scheme camouflage.
Paints used:
Revell matt 65 for Dark Slate Grey
Revell matt 78 for Extra Dark Sea Grey
Revell matt 49/silk 371 mixture for Sky

I'm afraid a) the weathering got out of hand b) this isn't the right camouflage for British Navy planes in Crete 1941 c) rear canopy seams still aren't finished yet.

But I like the kit and the model! Final note, the original kit exhausts were mysteriously lost during the assembly but fortunately the Revell Hurricane IIc kits have a spare set!

EAD Eurofighter Typhoon (prototype?) 1/144 Revell

This Revell 1/144 Eurofighter "mini-kit" was issued in 1989, I think it represents the prototype plane and perhaps not  too accurately even at that. Therefore the colour hues are chosen in a loose "mock-up" fashion too.

The kit is good quality, but slightly less detailled than the same scale Tornado. Nice one build, though!

BBC CCCP Микоян и Гуревич МиГ-15 /VVS MiG-15 (бис/bis?) 1/72 Airfix

Airfix new tooling MiG-15, very nice and easy to build. Parts fit is excellent and the assembly guide is very informative, highly recommended. Built out-of-the-box as Soviet Air Force 1950's plane, these flew in Finland (although perhaps not exactly in this guise) for a short time at the Porkkala Soviet military base after the war. The actual Finnish Air Force MiG-15's were twin-seater UTI trainer versions.
